Manuela Castelluzzo

I am a designer, creator and idea-nurturer. I understand the urge to express yourself and the desire to be understood, and believe fashion is a wonderful vehicle for doing this.

About Manuela

Creative & Design Consultant

From a young age I was always drawing, making and creating. I channelled this passion for creativity into a career as a fashion designer and now have more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

I have held senior roles specialising in mens, womens, and children’s fashion; denim, sportswear, licensed apparel and accessories. I’ve created successful fashion brands and products for international labels, major Australian retailers, independent brands and national sporting codes.

“My motivation is to bring a brilliant idea to life. I understand the entire product process from creating designs and establishing fits, through to fabrication, printing, sampling and production.”

My motivation is to bring a brilliant idea to life. With extensive experience in manufacturing and supply chain, working with local and offshore suppliers, I understand the entire product process from creating designs and establishing fits, through to fabrication, printing, sampling and production.

I’ve got my finger on the fashion pulse – with strong industry connections like the Australian Fashion Council; involvement in the International Sourcing Expo and other trade shows and fashion markets; and events like  Melbourne Fashion Festival.

I’m here to mentor people from the beginning of their journey to start or scale a fashion business – so let’s work together to grow an incredible platform for untold stories.

Testimonials

Time with Manuela made a huge difference - having someone other than myself look at what I had created and focus on my brand’s vision was invaluable. I regularly refer to my sessions and feel much more equipped to self-edit and trust my ability to step back to see if my ideas align with my vision. I believe it’s through putting yourself out there and sharing your creative journey with a mentor, that you slowly build up your own set of tools and little by little become more resilient and build self-belief.
