ABOUT
After 13 years in architecture and interior design, I saw an opportunity to create a kids clothing brand with personality. Over the next seven years, I built KaPow Kids, one of the leading childrenswear brands in Australia, delivering highly sought after pieces that sell out quickly, season after season. With a huge social following, and loyal customers who pounce on each release, I have a wealth of knowledge to share in kids fashion design, branding, marketing, wholesale and production.
It was after having my first baby Flynn, 8 years ago, that I decided to leave the corporate world to start my business from home. I bought a sewing machine from Spotlight and taught myself to sew from YouTube! Demand for the quirky designs increased so rapidly that making things by hand just didn’t cut it anymore – so I started manufacturing in a small, ethical, family-owned factory overseas.
